Alexandria Williams-Seymour & Issac Lawrence
It’s never easy to crown a winner, but thanks to tons of votes — many of which were submitted this year using Prom Guide’s new iPhone and Android app — our cover model has been chosen.
Congratulations to Alexandria Seymour of Cottage Grove, Minnesota!
She draws her fashion inspiration from uber-celeb Taylor Swift, but as you can see, Alexandria Seymour has plenty of style and personality of her own. She is a graduating senior at Park High School, and she’s done some modeling before, but when she learned about the Prom Guide Cover Model Contest, it was her mother who encouraged her to enter. And she’s glad she did.
It’s an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Five contest finalists are brought into New York City for the royal treatment, including hair, make-up and wardrobe. All glammed up, they each have a private photo shoot with a professional photographer.
And there’s more. They went home with arms full of Prom Guide gifts: a prom dress courtesy of Tiffany Designs, Hannah S, Panoply and Studio 17’s exciting prom collection, a finalist’s trophy, Prom Guide t-shirts, and more.
Following a week of voting, the big news was celebrated around the country at results parties thrown by Prom Guide’s Cover Model Contest sponsors.
“This sort of thing doesn’t happen often. I felt amazing.”
Her cover companion, Isaac Lawrence, is a stylish guy on most days at Washington Preparatory High School in Los Angeles. “Very fashionable” is how he says people tend to describe his fashion, and he takes pride in being a trendsetter. He says there’s a good chance he’ll be in the running to be voted best dressed this year.
He loved the outfit the Prom Guide style team put him in for his cover shoot, noting:
“This sort of thing doesn’t happen often. The look they gave me is amazing. I would consider wearing this the prom.”
Pulling off a high end photo shoot is only possible with a top notch style team, and ours was! Thanks, applause and kudos to Tiffany Designs, provider of Alexandria’s dress; shoes by Coloriffic, jewelry by Sassy South, and Isaac’s After Six tux was courtesy of Elite Tuxedo.
Good times and great memories for prom night this year.
