Mrs. India USA 2019 Crowns Kimi Verma
Mrs. India USA 2019 crowns Kimi Verma, CEO, fashion designer and face of Shail K., prom, pageant and evening wear brand and Art for Peace Award for Fashion Designer of the Year. Kimi was crowned while wearing a gown of her own design, a sleeveless, strappy white gown, with a v-neckline, beaded bodice and and a sheer cape with lace edges.
It’s been some time, but Verma is no stranger to the crown having won the title of Miss Bombay and the Femina Miss India Beautiful Hair title in 1994 according to Wikipedia.
To compete in the Mrs. India USA pageant, one must be of Indian origin and Verma was born in Panjab, in the northern part of India. To win the pageant, Verma had to compete in four segments: 1) Indian Dress 2) Evening Gown, 3) Talent, and 4) Question/Answer.
Verma will now compete at the Mrs. India Worldwide Pageant.
