We had the chance to speak with #designer #SierraRoumo at the Cutting Edge Fiesta Fashion Show where she presented her collection inspired by the “Roaring 20s”.
Above-the-knee hemlines, plenty of fringe, and gold and black colors were the common theme of her designs on the #runway.
Sierra Roumo: Obviously, I believe if you like something, go ahead and wear it. …there shouldn’t be a specific like, ‘oh, I can only wear this to a debi [#debutante] or I can only wear this at a #wedding.’ If you like it, go ahead and wear it.
Real Runways: What are the price points of your #garments?
Sierra Roumo: Mine is value so my cheapest thing is fifty dollars and my most expensive is one ninety five. I just like…I don’t think someone should have to pay that…much for something.

These are awesome tips for fashionistas! Anything affordable and well made is how i love to shop!
Affordable fashion is super important. It’s great to find well designed clothes at a reasonable price.
The fashion show seems so amazing! I’ll agree with her that ‘if you like it, go ahead and wear’! It always boils down to preference and comfort for me too.
I Like the thinking that wears what you want to wear.
Love affordable fashion that is very well made. Well done on getting a great and honest interview.
Affordable fashionable things are the best things in the world. I would like to know more about this.
Affordable clothings are always my first choice. There are a lot of cheap clothes good design. Just spend sometimes to dig deeper. You will eventually find it.
I love expensive looking cheap things! I’m big on fashion but never spend those high end prices.
I love Sierra’s motto of where what you feel like wearing! That is the definition of true fashion!
I love this!! I admire designers who create beautiful pieces and make them affordable for anyone. I believe that every girl deserves to have their dream prom gown. I love that humbleness of designers like this one. Great post!

I love it when fashion is affordable. When you go from the runway to the street without difficulty. Always love hearing designers talk about their inspo, fashion, brand
I love hearing from designers what their Why is. Even if its just a small caveat of their overall brand. Like how she believe that fashion should be attainable for all.
I love that he has affordable clothes. I would be afraid to wear the expensive ones as if I get them dirty that is a waste of money.
i love fashion but at the moment i am trying to be more ethical with what i buy. Fast fashion has lost its pull especially when one looks at the effect on the enviroment
I’m all for affordable fashion but quality is so important so if I have to spend a little extra for quality then so be it. And I love roaring 20’s theme.
I love affordable fashion that doesn’t look cheap! Sierra seems like such a switched on designer who puts a lot of thought into things.
I’m in the San Antonio area and often wonder if style is different depending on the area of the country. I love how you discussed what is up in coming and affordability!
I always love when fashion is affordable. I don’t like spending more than $100. When my daughter goes to prom, $100 will be her budget!
I agree with you, I do not spend alot on fashion. I get more than excitement out of finding cheap items that look amazing on me. I also agree that having someone tell me what or who is “in” to wear is ignored.
